Torus Talent is a Canadian recruitment firm specializing in engineering, construction management, and IT placements. Over the past 3 years, we've doubled our team and grown revenue 8x, with offices in Vancouver, Calgary, and Winnipeg. We're now expanding into the GTA - and looking for an entrepreneurial recruiter to lead that growth.



Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in Ontario. This commission-based role provides a unique opportunity for a self-motivated entrepreneur to earn up to 70% of placement fees and up to 70% of the margin on contract placements. You will have access to valuable resources, including our candidate database, LinkedIn Recruiter license, ZoomInfo, and other tools to ensure your success. With over 50 national client agreements already in place, you'll have the opportunity for warm introductions to managers in Ontario.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific recruitment needs and establish trust-based partnerships.
  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates for roles in either engineering, construction management, or IT.
  • Drive the full recruitment cycle, from candidate engagement and interview prep to negotiation and placement.
  • Actively build and maintain a network of candidates through various channels, leveraging Torus Talent’s database and LinkedIn Recruiter license.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Recruiting/Account Management Experience: 2+ years in a 360 Recruitment Role.
  • Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills: Ability to build and manage relationships, communicate clearly, and negotiate with confidence.
  • Self-Motivated and Results-Driven: You thrive in a commission-based environment and are driven by the potential to shape your earnings.
  • Adaptable and Resourceful: Able to work independently, adapt to changing needs, and proactively find solutions.
