What the role entails
The 2D Game Artist is responsible for creating high-quality 2D art assets including concepts, sketches, GUI elements, and in-game visuals that enhance the overall look and feel of Play’n GO games. Working under general supervision, they collaborate with the Game Producer, Art Director, and other team members to ensure all visual elements meet art guidelines and technical requirements. The artist contributes to continuous product improvement, tests implementations, and shares knowledge to support team development. Experienced artists are expected to mentor peers, review work, and drive innovation by researching new techniques and deploying tools that improve artistic output. This role plays a key part in maintaining visual consistency, supporting creative direction, and elevating the quality of game visuals through collaboration and technical expertise.

Some of the key responsibilities of our 2D Game Artist will be:
- Collaborate with squad and other chapters’ members, represent his/her own particular area
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality in the product.
- Create 2D art elements (concepts, sketches, GUI elements and assets) for the games
- Make sure every visual aspect of the game is well thought through and will be created in the best possible quality.
- Follow the art guidelines and technical limitation, and prepare the art elements on the required format
- An online portfolio of your artwork to submit for our review and amazement
- Strong drawing, color, composition, design and conceptual ideation abilities
- Excellent knowledge in Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to adapt different art style in doing characters, background and UI design
- Strong understanding of typography
